Mobile gaming on platforms like Apple Arcade and Google Stadia has been unable to rival traditional consoles like the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Kaliber Gaming and IOGEAR have developed a keyboard/mouse adaptor that makes this possible. The KeyMander 2 Mobile is a mouse and keyboard adapter for mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV on services like Apple Arcade, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, GeForce Now and Google Stadia. It can be modified to use more than 1,000 cloud-based and mobile titles. The game itself doesn't require to be compatible with controllers. The Keymander 2 adapter gives mobile gamers more control when playing, according to the company. Gamers can switch between their mouse, keyboard or controller with ease while creating one-touch button combos through a mobile app. Bluetooth programming permits rapid adjustments and the device has upgradable firmware. With the release of Keymander 2, desktop and console accuracy in games like Call of Duty Mobile, Doom II, Fortnite, Minecraft and Roblox becomes more achievable for gamers on the move. Multiplayer servers AirPlay allows players to play their game on a larger screen. The adapter can also be used with iOS Xbox or PlayStation Remote Play app. The adapter works like a charging dock, and gamers can attach their iPad or phone directly to begin playing. The adapter is also compatible with Xbox One and PS4 dualshock controllers. Kaliber Gaming says the Keymander 2 works best for first-person shooters, RPGs and real-time strategy games. The adapter is sold at Amazon, B&H Photo Video, and other retailers in the US or Canada for $90. The company plans to launch an international rollout in the coming year.
