The world's Minecraft players log hundreds of hours in Minecraft each day, but they don't play in China. Today, Minecraft developer Mojang announced it's creating a whole new version of the game created specifically for Chinese players. This development was made possible by NetEase which is which is a Chinese internet company. NetEase operates games such as Hearthstone and World of Warcraft in China. There's no official release date yet , and there's no information regarding what modifications to the game's core are necessary for the Chinese market. Games Games We do know that the Chinese version will launch exclusively for mobile and PC devices. "We are excited to introduce Minecraft to Chinese audiences, and expect our vast online community to embrace the game's renown," William Ding, CEO and co-founder of NetEase, Inc. announced. "With our deep understanding of the Chinese market and our ability to successfully launch world-class online and mobile games, we provide a strong platform to introduce Minecraft to China's vast player base."
