System Restore is your first line defense. It will restore you to the point before the issue began similar to a time machine. If it doesn't work, you can undo it. You can read the guide first and then restore back to the point you were before it started. Make it a priority now if System Restore isn't enabled on C drive, to enable it in the future. If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s... Even if it is the first time you tried the steps I provide, please repeat them in order. 1) Run the Store app troubleshooter at Settings>> Update & Security> Troubleshoot. 2) Search for and install game updates on Microsoft Store app > Hub (three dots on top right) > Updates. 3) Reset Minecraft in Windows Settings > Applications > Apps and Features > Minecraft > Advanced Option > Repair or Reset. Restart your computer and try it again. If none of these options work to work, uninstall Minecraft from Settings, reboot your computer, and reinstall MS Store Hub (three dots at the top right of Store app). 4) The Display driver is so crucial that simply updating it is often not enough. Let's try everything to make sure it's working properly: Update the Display driver via the PC or the Display adapter maker's Support Downloads website for the exact model number, HP Serial Number or Dell Service Tag - found on the sticker on your PC. You can also look for BIOS/UEFI firmware, newer chipsets as well as network, sound and other drivers by right-clicking on the Start Menu. If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/... or the Nvidia Update utility here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=e... or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P... Display issues can be fixed by rolling back or deinstalling the driver on the Display Device > Driver tab. Then restart your computer to install the driver. You can also test older drivers in Device Manager > Display device > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick. Then you will know you've tried everything in addition to Windows Update drivers. You can alter the resolution of your screen until it appears good. Go to Settings > System > Display.More 5) If nothing else helps then contact Minecraft Support here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new I hope that you find this information useful. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have and keep me updated. If you don't rate my blog post, I will continue to work with you until the issue is solved. ______________________________________________ Standard Disclaimer: There are links to non-Microsoft websites.
